Dr David Cleaver
David is a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering with a passion for aviation. He started learning to fly at 14 before studying for a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, followed by a PhD in fluid dynamics, post-doc funded through the Air Force Research Laboratory and Lectureship / Senior Lectureship. He has been involved in over £3M of research projects including the InnovateUK and DfT projects that led to the formation of 3UG.
Dr Pejman Iravani
Pejman is a Senior Lecturer in Robotics and Mechatronics. He has more than 10 years experience in robotics research including computer vision, machine learning, autonomous vehicles and drones. He currently leads the Robotics lab. He holds a PhD in control architectures for robot control and machine learning.
Dr Jonathan du Bois
Jon is a Senior Lecturer in Electromechanical Engineering specialising in dynamic systems and control. He holds a MEng in Aeronautical Engineering, PhD in adaptive control, 5 years post-doc experience as part of the REACT programme including as a Visiting Scholar to the University of California. His research experience covers active response suppression, autonomous aerial vehicles and advanced motion control.
Ben is currently head of Research Commercialisation and Enterprise for the University of Bath. He has previously worked for over fifteen years’ in a variety of regeneration, economic development and commercialisation roles, in both the public and private sectors. He has successfully secured funding for large scale capital programmes, projects designed to promote inclusive growth and the commercialisation of services.
